Domestic Flights - Air India Express

Air India Express is a low-cost airline subsidiary of Air India based in Mumbai. The airline which is now part of the National Aviation Company of India Limited (NACIL) was formed in order to facilitate the seamless merger of Air India and Indian Airlines. The airline was established in May 2004 and its operations were started on 29 April 2005. It covers more than 31 major domestic and international destinations and operates 162 flights a week from 17 Indian cities to 14 international destinations.

The airline provides all the essential on-board services to its passengers including free standardized meals and limited on-board entertainment facilities required for a comfortable flight. They provide quick and efficient services to their customers.

Currently Air India Express flies to 14 international destinations– Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Muscat, Salalah, Singapore, KualaLumpur, Bangkok, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, Colombo and Dhaka from 17 Indian cities – Kozhikode, Kochi, Thiruvananthpuram, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Amritsar, Srinagar, Lucknow, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mangalore and Tiruchirapally.

On the domestic front, they function on Mumbai-Kochi, Mumbai-Kozhikode, Mumbai-Delhi, Mumbai-Chennai, Mumbai-Pune, Mumbai-Nagpur, Nagpur-Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad-Nagpur, Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Amritsar, Delhi-Lucknow, Chennai-Hyderabad, Chennai-Thiruchirapalli, Kozhikode-Kochi, Kozhikode-Thiruvananthpuram and Kochi-Thiruvananthpuram sectors.
