Domestic Flights - Go Airlines

Headquartered in Mumbai, this low-cost airline was established in June 2004 by Wadia group, the bulk stake owner of Bombay Dyeing and Britannia Industries. Its operations, however, were started in November 2005. Operating in most parts of the country the airline offers state of the art service at minimal cost. It takes all the measures to provide its customers a comfortable and convenient journey. This low-fare carrier was launched with the objective of commoditizing air travel and offers airline seats at marginal premium to train fares across India. The airline currently operates across 15 destinations with 100 daily flights and approximately 700 weekly flights.

GoAir is currently servicing the airports at Ahmedabad, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nanded and Srinagar. The airline ensures a smart value-for-money option for both business and leisure travelers, without compromising on either safety or service factors.

The airline does not offer a complimentary meal service to its passengers; however, it offers a buy-on-board food service where items such as sandwiches, parathas, cookies, nuts and soft drinks can be purchased. A new premium service known as Go Business has been started by GoAir from April 2009 in which the passengers are offered free meals on board at a very less fare difference.

The airline offers convenient online booking options on its website wherein the passengers can book GoAir tickets round the clock from anywhere. The passengers who do not have a credit or debit card or access to internet can book their tickets through GoTravel Agents or GoCallCentre. Tickets can also be availed at the Airport counters.
