Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN MAURITIUS

Arrive in Mauritius to a warm welcome by our representative and receive a transfer to the hotel. On arrival, enjoy a fabulous dinner followed by a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2: ILE AUX CERFS TOUR BY SPEEDBOAT

After enjoying breakfast, depart in a coach for a full-day excursion to Ile Aux Cerfs, which is an emerald lagoon on the east coast. From the jetty, take a speedboat to reach the island. On reaching Ile Aux Cerfs, enjoy the day at leisure freely indulging in beach and water sports activities (at own expense). Return to the hotel in the evening to a fabulous dinner followed by a comfortable overnight say at the hotel.

DAY 3: OPTIONAL TOUR

After a hearty breakfast, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or embark on a full-day optional catamaran cruise. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 4: NORTH ISLAND TOUR

After breakfast, depart for a full-day tour of North Island on which you will visit interesting sights such as the Capital City - Port Louis, Place d' Arms with its French colonial buildings and the exotic Caudan Waterfront. Return to your hotel in the evening for a fabulous dinner followed by a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 5

After breakfast today, you can spend the day at your leisure, or you can take our optional tour on the Blue Safari Submarine. In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 6: SOUTH ISLAND TOUR

After breakfast today, depart for a full-day tour of South Island on which you will visit such important sights as the Trou aux Cerfs - the crater of an extinct volcano, Grand Bassin - a natural lake at the base of volcanic crater and a pilgrimage place for Hindus and Chamarel (Coloured Earth) - with its vibrant hues and waterfalls. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

After breakfast today, the tour ends as the time nears to say goodbye to beautiful Mauritius. Receive a transferred to the airport in time to board your return flight.

The Accommodation at Heritage Awali is as unique as it location and theme. It’s provided in a 3 categories, i.e.

Deluxe Rooms: These are all decorated in chic ethnic themes that conjure up an atmosphere that is both tropical and African. Each room comes with a private terrace, adding perfectly to your comfort.

Suite: The suite comes with extra sitting & dining space and a private terrace. The rooms are strategically located to give you an uninterrupted view of the beautiful lagoon. Each suite comes complete with a CD/DVD player, an espresso machine and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom.

The Villa: An epitome of comfort and space, the Villa has an attached living room (equipped with a CD/DVD player), a dining room complete with a kitchen, two large bedrooms, with separate attached bathrooms, a children’s room with attached bathroom, a gazebo along with a private swimming pool. It also has a 24-hour butler service and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom.

Drinks & Dining

The Resort has enough choices of bars and restaurants to keep its guests rolling with joy. These are:

BALAFON: This restaurant serves breakfast and dinner and can accommodate close to 300 both indoors as well as in an exquisite outdoor setting. Timings: 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM, 7:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Cuisine(s): Various

INFINITY BLUE: This one is set in a pristine outdoor setting, a la carte menus served to 100 persons at a time. Timings: Noon – 3:30 PM, 7:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

AMAFROOTY: a la carte, poolside lunches, perfect for light meals over hearty conversations. Timings: Noon – 6 PM.

SEVEN COLOURS ENERGY CUISINE: Very Asian. This restaurant can accommodate up to 22 persons. Cuisine: Innovative.

LE CHÂTEAU DE BEL OMBRE: The best of Mauritian cuisines served inside a 19th century Manor House. Capacity: 60 persons, Service: a la carte. Timings: 7:00 PM – 10 PM and breakfast & lunch if the season allows.

The Bars at the resort are as follows:

ZENZI-BAR: This bar offers a breathtaking view of the lagoon. Timings: 10 AM – Midnight, Noon – 5 PM.

GOLF CLUB RESTAURANT & BAR: Enjoying a light meal before or after a round of golf. Accommodation: 60 persons. Timings: Bar: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM. Restaurant: Noon – 5:30 PM.

BLUE DRIFT BAR: A beach bar you'll love to be at all the time. Timings: 10 AM – Midnight.

The Resort provide premium quality facilities to its customers such as 3 swimming pools, 9 hole ‘pitch and putt’ golf course, windsurfing, sailing dinghy, canoe, aqua gym, pedal boats, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling trips, daily water skiing session, aerobic sessions, darts, table tennis, bocci balls, badminton, access to the umuzi sports centre, archery, a giant chest board, mountain bikes, 2 floodlit tennis courts, use of tennis racquets, beach volleyball, beach soccer and indoor games. There are other outdoor activities provided as well but at an extra cost. These include a 18-hole championship golf course, catamaran cruises, big game fishing, kite surf, diving (padi), water skiing lessons, quad biking, golf lessons, electronic games, billiard/tokens, personal training, tennis lessons & tennis balls and horse riding.
